GaGa, Beyoncé among most powerful women
Lady GaGa and Beyoncé Knowles have been named among the most powerful women in the world. In the list compiled by Forbes Magazine, GaGa took seventh place while Beyoncé was at nine. They were beaten by women including first lady Michelle Obama, who took first place, television presenter Oprah Winfrey at three and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who made fifth place in the list. The singers beat the likes of Ellen DeGeneres, who landed at ten, ex-governor of Alaska Sarah Palin at 16 and Angelina Jolie at 21. Earlier this year, the pair also made Forbes' Celebrity Power List, with Knowles taking second place while GaGa made her debut at number four.
