Beyonce among the women nominated for Artist of the Year at MTV VMAs
For the first time in MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) history, only female artists have been nominated for Artist of the Year.
Artist of the Year has been an annual award since 2017 when the VMAs combined their gendered categories.
This year's Artist of the Year nominees are:

Doja Cat
Karol G
Nicki Minaj
Shakira
Taylor Swift
Beyonce was only eligible for one category, Artist of the Year, because she didn't release any music videos for her 2022 album Renaissance. Vote here!
