I chose to forgive him because of my strong faith in God. I still don’t let that get me down and if there is a time that I feel down and I need something to take my mind off of things, I pop in a Beyoncé CD or DVD. Beyoncé has always been an inspiration to me I remember the first time I saw the ‘No, No, No’ video in 1997. I have been the biggest fan ever since.”

Not only does Gabi push herself to remain positive against all odds, she also inspires those in her life. Due to her injuries, Gabrielle’s requires frequent medical assistance. Her nurse Tina Haney speaks on her experience with Gabrielle saying, “she is one of the most inspiring people I have ever met. She sees everything positively. Now I just go to see her not because she needs my care, but because I love being around her energy.”

Thank you, Gabrielle, for sharing your story as a survivor‎ and a young woman who against all odds exudes courage and strength daily to inspire others to keep living no matter the circumstance! #GabiStrong
