Jay-Z and Beyonce released their joint album Everything is Love as a surprise on June 16th on their streaming service TIDAL, which was followed by a wide release two days later on all platforms.

For those looking for the physical edition of the album, here’s some good news: it hits stores July 6th! This edition will feature 9 songs as the 10th track ‘Salud!’ continues to be a non album exclusive on TIDAL.

As Beyoncé and JAY-Z earn their first charted album as a duo, as Everything Is Love, billed as by The Carters, opens at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 123,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music, five tracks from the set debut on the Billboard Hot 100.

"Apes**t" debuts the highest of the bunch on the Hot 100, at No. 13. Sparked by its official video, the song arrives with 24.1 million U.S. streams in the tracking week, as well as 20,000 downloads sold.

The Carters' "Boss" debuts at No. 77 on the Hot 100, followed by "Summer" at No. 84, "Nice" at No. 95 and "Friends" at No. 99.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z have each tallied 59 and 97 solo entries on the Hot 100, respectively. The husband-and-wife luminaries have logged eight shared Hot 100 entries under their usual monikers (Beyoncé and JAY-Z), including the eight-week No. 1 "Crazy in Love" (credited to Beyoncé featuring JAY-Z) in 2003.

Everything Is Love concurrently debuts at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, while "Apes**t" opens at No. 9 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.

The names Cool & Dre ring out across the hip-hop landscape for more reasons than one. If you're feeling nostalgic, their work on the Game's "Hate It or Love It" and Ja Rule's "New York" will get your blood flowing. If you're feeling contemporary, look no further than Fat Joe and Remy Ma's anthemic "All the Way Up," which dominated airwaves and peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100.

They've been locked into the music game for more than a decade—but it still came as a surprise when credits on JAY-Z and Beyoncé's joint album Everything Is Love revealed the veteran production duo produced three out of nine tracks: "Summer," "713," and "Black Effect." They couldn't sound any more different: "Summer," with its deceptively lazy but thoroughly soulful pace, "713," with driving keys just south of in tune but hard enough that it doesn't matter, and "Black Effect," with its comparatively sparse beat and haunting background vocals. The Carters also released a bonus track, "Salud!" which Cool & Dre produced, and Dre laid down vocals for. As its name suggests, it sounds like a toast to victory.

As expected, Cool & Dre are floating on Cloud Nine now that their contributions to Everything Is Love have officially reached our ears. In an interview with Complex, the pair talked about their favorite moments creating with JAY and Bey, how easy it was to keep the collaboration a secret, and their status after producing for two of the most revered artists on the planet.

What have the past 48 hours been like for y’all?

Where were you when the joint Beyoncé and JAY-Z album dropped?

Producer duo Cool & Dre won't forget the answer to the question on everybody's minds this weekend anytime soon. After all, they were right alongside the Carters on tour in London, having literally put finishing touches on Everything Is Love just a few hours before it arrived with no warning on Saturday evening (June 17).

But just because the album's release came down to the wire doesn't mean its creation was hasty: Marcello "Cool" Valenzo and Andre "Dre" Lyon describe the work ethic of hip-hop's perfectionist power couple as nothing short of fastidious -- no drum sound, sample or melody was spared their scrutiny. Below, Cool & Dre take Billboard behind the scenes of their Paris stadium sessions, Beyoncé's hands-on role in the writing process and just how much music they have left in the vault.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z work in mysterious ways. Were you surprised that the album came out when it did?

Dre: Nah, we knew what was going on. We were in London with them when the album dropped. JAY-Z and Beyonce are Golden State Warriors: they shoot half-court shorts, and it goes in. We spent three weeks in Paris recording, then we went to Cardiff for like a week. We got to London and knocked out two to three tracks 10 days of finishing up the album. An hour and a half before showtime, Bey and Jay were still cutting up vocals. Three hours later it was released to the world. There are no rules when it comes to those two.

When Beyoncé and Jay-Z's album Everything Is Love appeared suddenly on Tidal on Saturday night, a surprising name stood out on the credits list: veteran duo Cool & Dre co-produced three of the nine songs on the album, along with a bonus track. Cool & Dre were ubiquitous on much of the radio in the mid-2000s – see Ja Rule's "New York" and the Game's "Hate It or Love It," for starters – and enjoyed a recent renaissance as the team behind Fat Joe's "All the Way Up." The pair had never worked on a Jay-Z or Beyoncé album before, though. On Everything Is Love, they're responsible for "Summer," the album's soul-sampling opener; the radio-ready, Dr. Dre-interpolating "713"; and a pair of triumphant cuts that appear near the end of the LP, "Black Effect" and "Salud!" Cool & Dre co-produced more tracks than anyone on the album other than Beyoncé and Jay-Z themselves.

"We always joke with Jay: Working with them two is like working with the Golden State Warriors," Dre says. "We can just dribble the ball up the floor and look like geniuses." Rolling Stone spoke with the duo – Dre is by far the chattier of the two – about how they ended up on Everything Is Love, the recording sessions in Paris and Cardiff, and how Jay-Z and Beyoncé's talents pushed them to new creative heights.

How did you get involved in the album?
Dre: We've had a relationship with Jay-Z shit, for 15 years. OG Juan introduced me to Jay shortly after "Hate It or Love It" was ringing off. He told me back in the day: "'Hate It or Love It,' I get it, I gotta let that go. But 'New York,' you were supposed to hand deliver that to me. You gotta find a way to get to me." We've always had a cordial relationship with him. We never had the opportunity to get on one of his albums. You have to be right beside him. Jay has a thing, he'll text or email: "Stay close." That's advice you have to take literally. He'll record in two weeks and the album is done.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have added their brand new collaborative album to major streaming services and iTunes.

Originally a timed exclusive to TIDAL, Everything Is Love, featuring the new single APES**T, is now available across Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer, while it is now available to download for the first time on iTunes and Amazon.

Everything Is Love was revealed following The Carters' final On The Run II UK tour performance at London Stadium, London. The video to APES**T was played to the audience in full to close the show.

Everything Is Love is nine tracks long, and features uncredited vocals from Pharrell, Ty Dolla $ign, plus Quavo and Offset of Migos. One more track Salud! - billed as a non-album promotional song - remains exclusive to TIDAL.

A joint Beyoncé-Jay-Z album has finally dropped after years of rumors. Titled "Everything Is Love," the announcement was made by Tidal, the streaming company owned by Jay-Z. It features nine tracks, each credited to Beyoncé and Jay-Z — or The Carters — and clocks in at just under 40 minutes.

The album, unusually brief for both artists, sent fans scrambling to sign up for Tidal, a subscription-based music streaming service started by Jay-Z and other artists. That's where they could find the bonus track called "Salud" that the duo presumably felt didn't fit with the album's sequence.

According to unofficial credits, the album features production from Pharrell Williams (two tracks, "Nice" and "Apes---"), Cool & Dre, Boi-1Da, Vory, Jahaan Sweet and Sevn Thomas, and guest spots from Migos ("Apes---") and Pharrell.

BET's annual telecast celebrates black excellence in music, film, TV, sports and philanthropy and will air live June 24 from the Microsoft Theater at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

Michelle Williams knows how to keep a secret. “We’re the secret queens,” the singer tells Billboard in the wake of performing two consecutive weekends at Coachella with headliner Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland. The trio, who rose to commercial acclaim in the late ‘90s and early aughts as Destiny’s Child, had been keeping the surprise under wraps since February, when Bey reached out to her former band members and asked them to join her for a medley of their mega-hits including “Say My Name,” “Lose My Breath” and “Soldier.”

“It’s just like old girlfriends coming together,” explains the 37-year-old, who last reunited as Destiny’s Child at the 2015 Stellar Awards where they performed her upbeat gospel single “Say Yes.” “It’s something that when the three of us come together, we all know we feel safe within each other. Like I got your back. We’re good. I really love that about us.”

Since Destiny’s Child went on hiatus in the wake of their last album, 2004’s Destiny Fulfilled, Williams hasn’t slowed. She’s put out four solo full-lengths including her final release, 2014’s Journey to Freedom (which won’t be her last); starred on stage as leads in Chicago and Aida; launched her own furniture and candle line Believe by Michelle; and, more recently, got engaged to pastor Chad Johnson just prior to her Coachella performance. Still teeming with excitement from the pair of shows, Williams explains how it all came together.

There were rumors before Coachella that a Destiny’s Child reunion might happen. How did the conversations begin for this? Did Beyoncé call you and just say, “It’s time?”

The 2018 Billboard Latin Music Awards took place last night at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Beyoncé was nominated in seven categories but won only in one - Latin Rhythm Song of the Year for "Mi Gente" featuring J Balvin & Willy William.

Beyoncé’s debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 14 powered big gains for her music sales and streams in the U.S. in the week ending April 19, according to Nielsen Music.

The diva headlined the second night of the festival, which was streamed live on YouTube. Her well-received performance featured her husband JAY-Z, her sister Solange and a Destiny’s Child reunion alongside group members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams .

Combined, the album and song catalog of both Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child saw an 83 percent increase in sales in the week ending April 19, as the two acts combined sold 8,000 albums (up 102 percent from 4,000 a week earlier) and 37,000 digital tracks (up 79 percent from 21,000).

The biggest-selling album between the two acts was Beyoncé’s 2016 set Lemonade, which re-enters the April 28-dated Top Album Sales chart at No. 24 with 5,000 sold (up 142 percent) -- its best sales frame since the week ending Dec. 28, 2017.

On the Billboard 200 -- which ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption -- Lemonade re-enters at No. 91, while her self-titled 2013 album returns at No. 138 and 2008's I Am… Sasha Fierce jumps back onto the tally at No. 160.

Not only did Beyoncé's Coachella 2018 performance make history and shake pop culture, it also sold a ton of music. In particular, that snazzy Destiny's Child reunion where Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams harmonized with Bey to sing "Soldier," "Lose My Breath" and "Say My Name," ushered in a major bump in digital sales.

According to Nielsen, after the performance ended, digital song sales for Destiny's Child hits soared some 767% on Sunday, April 15, not even 24 hours after the group collectively wowed the crowd. The trio is marking the 20th anniversary of the chart-topping girl's group, and the sudden uptick in downloads means the ladies have not lost relevancy even though they don't often perform live together. As for Bey, though it's hard to fathom that there are some people out there who don't already own her music, she still managed to sell yet more of it. Digital song sales for Beyoncé's catalog saw a 228% increase compared to a baseline established prior to Coachella.

Beyonce, with 7,000 units sold, overall moved more units because her baseline is larger than that of Destiny's Child, which moved around 1,200 units, according to Nielsen.

Of all that music, the song "Hold Up" was the top-selling track for Beyoncé with a sales spike of 287%.

The singer's most recent album, Lemonade, hit the number 1 spot on the overall worldwide iTunes chart, as well as national charts in Brazil, Denmark and Norway. In the United States, it ascended to the fifth position.

In the most recent Rolling Stone cover story, former White Stripes frontman Jack White revealed the existence of an unreleased version of Beyonce’s “Daddy Lessons.”

White spoke openly of his collaborations with Beyonce, saying the two were supposed to take to Saturday Night Live to perform "Don't Hurt Yourself" -- the searing cut from Lemonade that explicitly referred to Jay-Z’s infidelity, laced with White's cryptic guitar keys -- though the plan never came to fruition.

He also revealed another unreleased collab with Queen Bey, saying the singer had requested an (even more) country-inspired version of “Daddy Lessons,” citing blues musician Seasick Steve as the alternate arrangement’s inspiration. White was impressed by the request, but his version of the song remained unused on Lemonade.
