Win Two VIP Tickets To See Beyoncé On Good Morning America

Klaudia//June 21, 2011
From here on out we don't want to hear anyone using the term "diva" to describe anyone. It's over. Done. Dead. Enough. Well, except for Beyoncé. For her we'll allow it since she truly encompasses everything the word once meant: glamour, ferocity, beauty, and -- perhaps most importantly -- talent. On June 28th, Ms. Knowles is gracing us with a new album, her fourth solo venture, the aptly titled 4. The world has already been treated to the infectious "Run The World (Girls)" and just the other week we gushed about how much we love the second single, "Best Thing I Never Had," but just wait until you hear the rest of the album (which we we're given a preview of last week). Once again Beyoncé refused to follow anyone else's lead and instead produced a collection of songs that sounds like no one but herself. In honor of the release of 4, we're giving away two Beyoncé prize packs, which each include the new album and two VIP pit tickets to attend her Good Morning America concert on July 1. To win, simply leave a comment here telling us what your favorite Beyoncé song is and why by Wednesday, June 29 at 11:59pm ET. We'll choose two winners at random from the entries received. We cannot provide transportation or lodging, so if you're not a NYC resident, you'll need to make your own arrangements to get to the concert.

Beyonce `nervous` about Glastonbury festival performance

Klaudia//June 2, 2011
Pop megastar Beyonce reportedly arrived in London yesterday, weeks ahead of her headlining slot at Glastonbury festival so she can rehearse at a secret location. The 29-year-old will close the three-day UK event, the same festival her husband Jay-Z previously headlined in 2008, on June 26 and has hired a rehearsal studio in London to perfect her show. An insider told British newspaper the Daily Mirror: 'Beyonce is so nervous about the gig she has booked the space for two weeks so she can perfect the set, which will include dizzying pyrotechnics. She's literally playing with fire. 'Her performance at Glastonbury is already looking epic. She's been given a helping hand by Jay-Z and Kanye West who both look set to perform numbers with her.'

Jay-Z amazed by Beyonce`s talent

Klaudia//May 27, 2011
US rapper Jay-Z has gushed about his talented wife Beyonce after posting a video online of her rehearsing backstage. The Crazy In Love hitmaker was preparing for her performance on the American Idol final. And Jay-Z, 41, couldn't help but praise the 29 year-old's talent. He wrote on his LifeandTimes website: 'Sometimes you need perspective. You've been right in front of greatness so often that you need to step back and see it again for the first time.' He added: 'This is the dressing room rehearsal for American Idol. No microphone. No effects.'

More 'American Idol' Finale Performers Revealed

Klaudia//May 25, 2011
Big things are in store for the finale of American Idol's 10th season. A production source tells The Hollywood Reporter that in addition to U2's Bono and The Edge (who are performing with the cast members from Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark), show judge Steven Tyler will be singing onstage. And, he'll be in good company. According to the source, the Aerosmith frontman will be joined by Carrie Underwood, Lady Gaga and Beyonce who will perform a group medley along with contestants Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina. There has also been talk that judge Jennifer Lopez will return to the stage (she performed her single "On the Floor" two weeks ago), but nothing has been confirmed as of yet. On Tuesday's episode, a pre-taped performance of this year's send-off song, "Don't You Forget About Me" by Season Seven winner David Cook will be aired. And, though he tweeted that he would not be singing because he wasn't asked to, last season's winner Lee Dewyze will be in attendance. He was spotted downtown at the LA Live courtyard along with Idol alums Elliott Yamin, Michael Johns, Didi Benami, Nicky McKibbin, Andrew Garcia and Jason Castro.

Beyonce Reveals Inspiration Behind Billboard Music Awards Performance

Klaudia//May 25, 2011
When Beyonce took to the stage at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards this past Sunday (May 22), she gave what was, quite possibly, the performance of her lifetime. It certainly ranks up there among the most memorable in the award show's history. Honored with the Billboard Millennium Award, Beyonce performed her current single, 'Run the World (Girls)' while dancing and interacting with high-tech video projections synced behind her. Indeed, the word "epic" comes to mind, as it was a dazzling marriage of choreography and technology, the likes of which have rarely been seen on live television. However, some have argued that the word "groundbreaking" might be misleading -- Beyonce's performance may have been unique in its execution, but the basic idea actually came from a performance by Italian pop singer Lorella Cuccerini in 2010. The visuals, dancing and even sequencing are remarkably similar at points. That's no coincidence, nor is it a rip-off. Rather, Beyonce acknowledges the direct influence. "My makeup artist showed me the performance of Lorella Cuccarini a year ago, and it inspired me so much," Beyonce tells AOL Music, exclusively. "I then met with the talented people who worked on it. The technology and concept were so genius. Thank god for YouTube or I would have never been exposed to something so inspiring. I never worked so hard on anything in my life as that performance for the Billboard Awards." Naturally, YouTube is now flooded with side-by-side comparisons of the two performances and, yes, it is fascinating to see how ideas can evolve from one creative entity to the next. But whereas critics are quick to point out influences, musicians are more prone to identify them as inspiration. In turn, Beyonce's performance will now, no doubt, "influence" other artists at future award shows. For proof, check back next year. And that, of course, is exactly why Beyonce is a Billboard Millennium Award recipient.

Everyone from First Lady Michelle Obama to Lady Gaga will take part in saluting the singer with the Millennium Award at tomorrow’s Billboard Music Awards. Billboard announced that the star-studded presentation will feature messages from Obama, Gaga, U2’s Bono, Stevie Wonder, and Barbra Streisand, who Beyoncé called one of her “career role models.” The 29-year-old superstar will also reportedly perform her single “Run the World (Girls)” at the ceremony, which will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Beyoncé, Usher, Madonna & More Bid Farewell To Oprah

Klaudia//May 18, 2011
The likes of Beyoncé, Usher and Madonna joined US TV legend Oprah Winfrey to bid farewell to her iconic chat show last night. Winfrey, who announced in November 2009 that she would be ending her talk show, claimed she was "beyond joyous" after a whole host of Hollywood A-listers turned up to surprise her at the recording of her last ever three shows in Chicago. As well as Queen B, Usher and Madge, Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes, Alicia Keys, Halle Berry and Will Smith also turned up to pay homage to Oprah in front of a 20,000 strong audience. Beyoncé took to the stage to perform her new single Run The World (Girls) for Oprah, wearing hotpants and a sexy tuxedo, complete with bow-tie. The ex-Destiny's Child singer said of Oprah: "Oprah Winfrey, because of you, women everywhere have graduated to a new level of understanding of what we are, who we are, and who we can be ... We can run the world!'" The final three episodes of The Oprah Winfrey Show will air in America next week.
