Beyoncé and Blue Ivy enjoy Jay-Z's Paris gig

Klaudia//April 17, 2023
Beyonce and Blue Ivy Carter were spotted in the crowd of Jay Z’s Paris gig as the superstar rents out the La Defense Arena to rehearse for her Renaissance tour.

The music superstar, 41, was seen enjoying her rapper husband, 53, performing at Fondation Louis Vuitton alongside the couple’s daughter, Blue Ivy, 11.

The Empire State Of Mind star performed an array of his best hits at the venue to open the Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat exhibit.

Beyonce renting Europe's largest indoor arena to rehearse world tour

Klaudia//April 17, 2023
Rehearsals for Beyonce’s upcoming world tour are well under way - and the star is pulling out all the stops to ensure her performance will be ‘groundbreaking’.

The Renaissance World Tour will be 41-year-old Bey’s first solo world tour since her 2016 Formation World Tour and is due to kick off next month in Stockholm.

She will take in dates across Europe, the UK, and North America - seeing her performing through to the end of September.

And while tickets have controversially cost thousands for fans to snap up, it seems no expense is being spared in preparation for the live dates.

According to The Sun, Bey is currently hard at work in France perfecting her dance moves and set manoeuvres.

The Halo singer has booked out the La Defense Arena in Paris to use as her practice ground - with the stadium twice the size of London’s O2 arena and capable of seating 40,000 fans.

'Cuff It' Becomes Beyonce's Longest-Charting Solo Hot 100 Hit

Klaudia//April 17, 2023
Beyoncé banks a new milestone on the Billboard Hot 100, as “Cuff It” becomes the longest-charting hit on the survey of her solo career. The song adds a 34th week on the Hot 100, ranking, fittingly, at No. 34 on the April 15-dated chart, and surpasses the 33 weeks that “Telephone” with Lady Gaga logged in 2009-10.

“Cuff It” was released on Beyoncé’s album Renaissance, which launched as her seventh No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last August. The set’s lead single, “Break My Soul,” became her eighth Hot 100 No. 1 the same week, while “Cuff It” reached No. 6 this February. The latter song became her 21st top 10 as a soloist, while Renaissance became her first album with multiple top 10s since I Am…Sasha Fierce in 2008-09.

Here’s a look at Beyoncé’s longest-charting Hot 100 hits:

Weeks on Hot 100, Title, Peak Pos./Year:
34, “Cuff It,” No. 6, 2023
33, “Telephone,” Lady Gaga feat. Beyoncé, No. 3, 2010
31, “Halo,” No. 5, 2009
30, “Irreplaceable,” No. 1 (10 weeks), 2007-07
29, “Sweet Dreams,” No. 10, 2009

Halle Bailey shares advice Beyoncé gave her when cast as Ariel

Klaudia//April 9, 2023
When director Rob Marshall cast recording artist Halle Bailey as the lead in his live-action version of The Little Mermaid, the singer of R&B duo Chloe x Halle sought advice from her mentor — who just happens to be the multi-hyphenate Beyoncé Knowles-Carter.

Bailey, now 23, was named the new Ariel when she was 18, a casting that sparked polarizing responses: some praised Disney for its colorblind auditions, and those on the opposite end of the spectrum waded into racist waters.

Considered a protégé of Beyoncé — who voiced Nala in 2019's The Lion King, another reimagining of a Disney classic — Bailey says she received "beautiful advice" from the Grammy winner after landing Ariel.

"She's always been very, very complimentary and proud of me, and that means the world coming from her, somebody that's been one of my biggest inspirations since I was 3," Bailey tells EW for our Little Mermaid cover story. "She just told me to stand in my power and to not give up and to know that I can do this and believe in myself."

Olivier Rousteing talks about his adventure with Beyoncé for Vogue France

Klaudia//April 2, 2023
There’s no ignoring the earth-shattering impact that Beyonce’s album, Renaissance, had when it dropped last summer. Her 300 million fans on Instagram certainly helped to raise the roof! After a six-year wait, they finally had some new music from the incomparable Queen B to dissect, remix, and listen to on repeat without ever tiring of it. Fresh out of its release, Renaissance almost instantly became a timeless classic. Fusing old school and modern sounds, disco and house, the album offers an homage to yesteryear’s masters, an awareness of our current world and a liberation of the senses. It acts as an invitation to a party. When the album dropped, Beyoncé said to her community, “Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom..” Of course, in the meantime, a lot had changed, with a new president, a pandemic, and the murder of George Floyd, the mood of the United States had shifted. The new world envisioned by Beyoncé is one that is resilient, but certainly not forgetful. Renaissance, along with its music and its lyrics, had a particularly strong impact on Olivier Rousteing of Balmain, so much so that it inspired him to design a couture collection entirely dedicated to the record. This was an unprecedented, extravagant gesture, with no ulterior motive, other than declaring his love for his idol and muse. Hand in hand with Beyoncé, Olivier designed sixteen pieces, one for each track on the album, culminating in a collection expressing his incredible admiration – a love letter inscribed in thread and cloth. If we have been lucky enough to see the collection, it is only at the discretion of its inspiration, the Queen Beyoncé herself. Olivier Rousteing and Beyoncé have exclusively shared a number of these exceptional pieces with Vogue France. Here, the designer talks us through this crazy (in love) adventure.

How did this story begin?
I think that the album is incredible. As soon as it came out, I would play it on repeat. At that time, I was working on my pre-collection. I was sketching while listening to Beyoncé's songs. In the evening, at home, I just kept on listening! I soon realized that I was building a collection that was purely inspired by her songs. So, I decided to contact Marni, her stylist. This was at two o'clock in the morning in Paris, so in the afternoon in Los Angeles. I told her that I had a couture collection for Beyoncé. "She's gonna love the idea!" Later, I talked Beyoncé through the journey behind this collection made for her, whom I admire so much, and for this album, with its music that blew me away. "Go for it!" she said, and so this incredible experience began.

Beyoncé and Balmain Introduce Renaissance Couture

Klaudia//March 24, 2023
Olivier Rousteing should have been doing one of two things late last July; either finalizing Balmain’s spring 2023 collection, or heading off on vacation. Instead he found himself listening to Beyoncé’s freshly-released Renaissance on rotation. As he tells it down a call from Paris: “I was sketching and sketching as I listened, and sometimes you can’t control the emotion of your sketch. And I started to imagine the sketches inside her album, how they would relate to the songs and the lyrics—it wasn’t something I was supposed to be doing but I was just inspired by the music to do it. And that’s how this started.”

Once he did get to that vacation, Rousteing kept sketching his Renaissance-rabbit hole pieces, refining and shaping. Then when he returned to Paris at the end of August he made a decision. “I contacted Marni and B. And I said, ‘honestly, I want to create a couture collection with you.’ And they were like: ‘Wow, that’s a big surprise.’”

Added Rousteing: “My hope was that she would be up for something even beyond the work we have done together before… I wanted us to be co-designers.” To his delight, Beyoncé was into it too.

Over the last five months Rousteing has been working in partnership with Beyoncé and Senofonte. Their first task was to whittle down the 50 or so looks that Rousteing sketched in his musically-driven fever dream to a playlist of 17. And the second was to collaborate on the process of transforming those remaining sketches into a fully produced and realized Balmain x Beyoncé couture collection. The result is a suite of A-side looks that honor both the history of the house and the musical heritage of the performer. Two of them have been seen already—glimpsed at the Grammys and the BRIT Awards earlier this year—and a few others are soon to be revealed elsewhere.

Beyoncé, Balmain Collaborate to Create Couture Outfits Inspired by 'Renaissance'

Klaudia//March 24, 2023
Beyoncé has a new collaborator: French luxury fashion house Balmain.

The singer, who appears on the April cover of Vogue France, announced on Friday that she has co-created a Balmain haute couture collection with Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s creative director.

Renaissance Couture by Beyoncé x Balmain includes 16 couture outfits dedicated to the 16 songs on Beyoncé’s Grammy-winning Renaissance album.

“Thank you @olivier_rousteing and @balmain for bringing RENAISSANCE to life in couture,” Beyoncé wrote on Instagram. “Designing alongside you was freeing — thank you for allowing me to celebrate the human form, to take artistic risks, to push boundaries and to freely express myself.”

“To the @voguefrance team, thank you for trusting in our vision and sharing it with the world,” she added.

Beyoncé, Adidas Mutually Agree to Part Ways

Klaudia//March 24, 2023
Beyoncé and Adidas are breaking up.

A source close to the situation tells The Hollywood Reporter that the Grammy-winning entrepreneur and the German lifestyle brand have mutually agreed to part ways.

In 2018, Beyoncé entered a creative partnership with Adidas, where she relaunched her Ivy Park activewear line and also developed new footwear and apparel for the brand.

But there has apparently been major creative differences between Ivy Park and Adidas, and Beyoncé is excitedly looking to reclaim her brand, chart her own path and maintain creative freedom.

Beyonce Says She Wants a Halle Bailey Doll

Klaudia//March 11, 2023
Earlier this week, Halle Bailey unveiled the collector’s gift of a lifetime—her very own doll as Disney’s newest princess. On Monday (March 6), Bailey debuted the new replica that fully encapsulates her likeness, down to the mole above her left eyebrow, for the upcoming live-action version of The Little Mermaid.

Meanwhile, some in the comment section suspected Halle was with her mentor, Grammy-winning entertainer Beyoncé, when she recorded the clip. At one point, another woman’s voice is heard off-camera saying, “I want one.” The “Church Girl’s” cousin, Angie Beyince, seemingly confirmed the hunch by commenting, “I’m w/ [bee emoji], I want one!”
