Adidas x Ivy Park Debut Top Ten 2000 Sneaker

Klaudia//January 14, 2023
Adidas and Ivy Park are continuing their partnership with a new release.

The German sports’ giant and Beyoncé’s apparel brand announced on Friday the release of the Ivy Park Top Ten 2000 sneaker, a basketball shoe that is “designed for the journey ahead,” according to the brand.

The brands took inspiration from the Top Ten 2000 sneaker that debuted in the early Aughts, blending archival designs with a modern Ivy Park twist. The sneaker is designed with mixed materials like technical mesh and suede, features a soft foam-fitting Neoprene and a molded heel piece. The style comes in an orange and beige colorway with multicolored laces.

The Ivy Park Top Ten 2000 sneaker is priced at $200 and will be available starting Jan. 20 on the Adidas Confirmed App.

Inside Beyoncé's "Club Renaissance" Event in Los Angeles

Klaudia//December 19, 2022
On Friday night, lines formed outside of a relatively unmarked warehouse space in Downtown Los Angeles for “Club Renaissance,” a two-night event in celebration of Renaissance, Beyoncé‘s seventh studio album. The album, released in July, is a kaleidoscopic exploration of genre, escapism and self-expression; on it, Beyoncé experiments with different shades of dance, house, disco, pop and R&B.

The party’s unspoken 1970s-era theme was interpreted by attendees for their outfits in a range of ways, much like the sonic versatility of the project itself. The event, presented by Amazon Music and Parkwood Entertainment, featured several notables in attendance, including Kenya Barris, Lori Harvey, and singers Syd, Victoria Monét and Lucky Daye.

The building was lined with graphic posters of a Renaissance promotional image, which several partygoers used as a backdrop for their photographs. And there was another wall ripe for photo opportunities, decorated with neon signs that bore song lyrics and titles from the album, like “Church Girl” and “Cozy.”

Guests chatted and sipped thematically named cocktails (“Cuff It” and “Alien Superstar,” also Renaissance titles) once doors were open, and approximately an hour after the event started at 9 p.m., the DJ began to play Renaissance top to bottom and in spatial audio. Attendees enjoyed it from the dance floor for the duration, creating the very Studio 54-esque dance party the project promises. (A group of engineers tucked along the periphery were controlling the sensory displays, which included strobe lights and fog elements.)

The glowing, holographic horse Beyoncé is seated on in the album’s cover art was prominently placed in the center of the room, enclosed in a glass box like a museum artifact. Throughout the night, the air was buzzing with the question of if Beyoncé herself would join the event, like she did in previous cities (ultimately, she did not, but she did record a special message for the attendees).

Free tickets were released online to her subscribers last week and sold out in under 20 minutes.

Beyoncé Shares Halloween Photo

Klaudia//November 5, 2022
Beyoncé shared her family’s Halloween photo on Thursday, which saw them recreating the characters from Disney’s The Proud Family, with Jay-Z and their three kids, 10-year-old Blue Ivy, and five-year-old twins Rumi and Sir joining in the fun as well. Bey posed as Trudy Proud and Suga Mama, donning a green blazer, orange top, and orange pants to complete Trudy’s look. For Suga Mama, the singer wore a grey wig, blue dress, pink coat, pink shoes, and square glasses, nailing the outfit.

“Family every single day and night,” Bey wrote.

Beyoncé Celebrates 'Renaissance' During Paris Fashion Week

Klaudia//October 10, 2022
Beyoncé is continuing to celebrate her new album with another launch party.

The musician hosted her second “Club Renaissance” party on Tuesday during Paris Fashion Week to celebrate her “Renaissance” album, which was released in July. For the occasion, Beyoncé looked to Saint Laurent for her look, wearing a plum-colored dress with a cross-over design and hood worn under a leather coat. She paired the look with Saint Laurent’s Luna sunglasses.

As a Tiffany & Co. ambassador, Beyoncé accessorized the look with an array of fine jewelry from the brand. Beyoncé was seen wearing pieces like the Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger x Link Necklace, the Tiffany HardWear Graduated Link Necklace, Tiffany Lock Bangles and the Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger Vigne Ring, among other pieces. The jeweler cohosted “Club Renaissance” with Beyoncé.

Many celebrities joined Beyoncé for the festivities, including Jay-Z, Ana de Armas, Naomi Campbell, Doja Cat, Léa Seydoux, Jaden Smith, Chlöe Bailey and many others.
