Beyonce asks fans to support struggling Kiwi families
Beyonce fans are being asked to take donations of clothing to her Auckland concerts to support families in need.
Barnardos New Zealand is partnering with Beyonce's official global charity campaign, #BeyGood, to collect donations at her concerts.
The charity will host a donation centre at each concert, and fans are being asked to bring items of clothing to help Barnardos support children and families.
Barnardos chief executive Jeff Sanders said the charity was honoured by the opportunity to distribute the clothing to vulnerable families.
"We're proud that Beyonce is using her platform to share the positive impact Barnardos has on local communities. We're incredibly grateful for her support of Barnardos," Mr Sanders said.
Visitors to the Barnardos New Zealand mobile donation site will also have a chance to win surprise gifts from Beyonce including an official #BeyGood t-shirt, a personally autographed photo or a concert seat upgrade.
Beyonce's Mrs Carter Show is at Auckland's Vector Arena for four nights from October 16.
