Taking care of business with her baby, Beyonce Knowles was spotted walking out of an office building carrying a bundled up Blue Ivy in New York City on Friday night (April 13). The "Love On Top" singer smiled as she tried to sneak out of the building wearing grey skinny jeans with a grey and yellow sweater, all the while toting her bundle of joy in a multicolored patchwork blanket.

Beyonce is the biggest gainer on this week's Billboard Social 50 chart, making a massive jump from No. 49 to claim the No. 17 spot after a frenzy of media activity and social buzz following the launch of the pop star's new Web presence. The Social 50 chart ranks the most popular artists on YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, using a formula that blends weekly additions of friends/fans/followers along with weekly artist page views and weekly song plays. The launch of the Beyonce's official Web site ( beyonce.com) on April 5 sent the social world into a tizzy. Her new site -- powered in part by Tumblr -- was announced the same day courtesy of the diva's first Tweet ( @beyonce). Her Twitter account had previously been the most-followed account without a single Tweet, with nearly 4 million followers. While Beyonce has had the account for over five years, she never said a peep until last week. And when fans have been waiting that long -- you know it's going to cause a stir. Beyonce's site is ambitious for a Tumblr. Keeping in mind the visual emphasis that has made the platform so popular, the site features a photo-centric theme that is devoid of extraneous frills and side menus. A simple black arrow featuring a slide-out menu allows visitors to seamlessly navigate to Beyonce.com and the rest of her pages, which have all also been redesigned to fit the same easily digestable and visually appealing tone set by her Tumblr. The overhaul also prominently features links to Beyonce's social properties, streamlining the fan acquisition process which resulted in a 114% increase in fan acquisition over the previous week.

The First Lady of the United States of America took some time out of her busy day to respond to a letter from Beyonce! Michelle Obama tweeted a response to Beyonce's handwritten letter stating, "Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to. -MO" The response comes hot on the heels of a letter Beyonce shared with her fans. In the letter, Beyonce states Mrs. O is the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman and someone little Blue Ivy can look up to! FLOTUS also made sure to tweet the link to Beyonce's beautiful letter after her response.

Really baby your hair: "I make a hot-oil concoction with natural oils and vitamin E for Beyoncé to put on under a heating cap," says Beyoncé's hairstylist, Kim Kimble, who has worked with the singer for 12 years. "She asks for sulfate-free shampoos, which are gentler. She knows so much that I always tease her and say she's a frustrated hairstylist!"

Embrace girl power: "My mom owned a hair salon, which was a great place to see women come together and start friendships," says Beyoncé. "I did learn a little about taking care of my hair, of course, but the lessons I learned about taking care of others and myself were much greater."

Keep it natural: "Beyoncé just likes to look like herself," says makeup artist Jackie Gomez, who's worked with the singer for eight years. "If we use false lashes, we use individuals, and I use a peach-toned primer to brighten her complexion."

Make a statement: "During the last election, Solange said she wanted Obama spelled out on her nails," says Beyoncé's manicurist, Lisa Logan. "So I asked Minx to make a nail with Obama's face on it to surprise Beyoncé and Solange. You can expect to see those again!"

Beyonce was seen out with Jay-Z at Rita Ora's show in New York last night (12th April). The 'Crazy In Love' singer was enjoying an evening with her husband and left baby Blue Ivy at home as she attended the show at the Skylight studios and headed to the after party at the Cartier Juste un Clou. The youngster’s parents, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, took the tot on a boating trip as part of their St Barts holiday. Blue was strapped into a baby carrier and wrapped in a grey blanket, and she appeared to be wearing a simple white onesie. Beyoncé, 30, cradled her precious cargo as she made her way aboard the yacht. The superstar singer dressed for the warm weather in an orange cardigan and denim cut-off shorts which showed off her enviable pins. She tied her honey coloured locks into a French plait and had a multi-coloured bag slung over one shoulder. Beyoncé, who appeared to bedecked out in lots of jewellery, went barefoot as she boarded the boat in the Caribbean harbour. Meanwhile her 42-year-old rapper husband Jay-Z looked very casual in his white Breton top, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. The pair each wore sunglasses for their day of exploring the waters in the sunshine, and when they returned from the boat trip, Beyoncé wore a different cardigan.
