Nicki Minaj Announces "Feeling Myself" As The Next Single

Klaudia//December 26, 2014
In news that should surprise absolutely no one, Nicki Minaj has selected Beyonce-featuring jam “Feeling Myself” as the next single from The Pinkprint. “Radio has really gravitated to their own songs, like I’m guessing ‘Feeling Myself’ is the next urban song,” the rap diva told Hot 97. “They picked it on their own.” It’s an absolute no-brainer given the success of their previous collaboration, “Flawless,” on urban radio and the song’s popularity on iTunes. In fact, “Feeling Myself” is currently best-selling track from The Pinkprint — even ahead of the femcee’s official new single “Only.” Listen to the interview below.

Beyoncé Earns Eighth No. 1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs

Klaudia//December 12, 2014
In only its second week on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Beyoncé's "7/11" reaches No. 1, granting the singer her eighth chart-topping title as a solo artist.

Beyoncé is now in a three-way tie with Whitney Houston and Alicia Keys for the fourth-most No. 1s among women in the 56 years since the chart launched as a sales/airplay hybrid tally. Only Aretha Franklin (with 20 No. 1s), Janet Jackson (16), Mariah Carey (10) have more. (Gladys Knight has also accumulated 10 No. 1s, but nine of those came as part of the group Gladys Knight & The Pips.)

Beyoncé also tallied four No. 1s in 1998-2000 as part of the group Destiny's Child before reigning for the first time as a soloist with "Crazy in Love," featuring Jay Z, in 2003.

"7/11" -- one of the new songs on the deluxe reissue of Beyonce's self-titled album -- also earns the week's Streaming Gainer honors. It jumps 52 percent in domestic streams (from 7 to 11 million -- fitting, given its title) in the week ending Dec. 7, according to Nielsen Music. It leaps 12-2 on Streaming Songs, her highest appearance since "Drunk In Love," featuring Jay Z, spent four weeks atop the two-year old chart in February.

Bonus 'Beyonce' Bows on R&B/Hip-Hop Charts

Klaudia//December 5, 2014
Following a deluxe reissue of Beyonce's self-titled 2013 album, its sales soar by 713 percent to 22,000 in the week ending Nov. 30, according to Nielsen Music. It vaults 18-4 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, with Greatest Gainer honors. It's right behind Beyonce's new Beyonce (More Only) EP, which contains just the new bonus material from the deluxe album. Only opens at No. 3 with 43,000 and also tops R&B Albums. The action surrounding the new releases helps to propel the singer 31-6 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart.

Of the new Beyonce bonus tracks, "7/11" earns the highest debut on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, starting at No. 3 (her second-best entrance ever, trailing only "Drunk in Love," which bowed at No. 2 in January). Shifting 85,000 downloads in its first week, the track shoots straight to No. 1 on R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Songs, where it's her first No. 1.

The start of "7/11" was also powered by its video, which caught fire with viewers on YouTube following its premiere on Nov. 21. A stark contrast to the slick production of the clips from Beyonce, the irrefutably fun, and seemingly homemade, video for "7/11" has amassed 39 million global views (as of Dec. 4).

Beyonce debuts three other songs on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs from the reissue: new track "Ring Off" enters at No. 31; "Standing on the Sun (Remix)," featuring Mr. Vegas, starts at No. 45; and original album track "Blow" begins at No. 48, aided by a new remix featuring Pharrell Williams.

Meanwhile, "***Flawless" leaps 34-12 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs with Digital Gainer honors. Of its 67,000 downloads sold, 91 percent stem from a newly-released remix featuring Nicki Minaj.

Beyonce & Jay-Z to Cameo in "The Interview"

Klaudia//December 5, 2014
Seth Rogen was paid more than $8.4 million and his co-star James Franco received $6.5 million for their new film The Interview, according to a Bloomberg report, which says the figures were among a cache of sensitive documents that hackers stole from Sony Pictures Entertainment that are now being released to the press in a steady stream. The report further states that the movie, on which Rogen also served as co-director as well as one of the writers and producers, cost $44 million.

Fusion also reveals that Beyonce and Jay Z are set to cameo in the film, with each of them being paid $10,000 and given first-class plane tickets.

The Interview, a comedy in which Franco and Rogen play TV journalists who are drafted by the CIA to assassinate North Korea leader Kim Jong Un, is scheduled to open Christmas Day and has been condemned by North Korean officials, who have dubbed it an "act of war."

Beyonce's "More" EP Debuts at No. 8 on Billboard 200

Klaudia//December 4, 2014
The Billboard 200, which has long been a chart that ranked the most popular albums of the week based on pure album sales, now shifts its methodology to a multi-metric consumption model. The ranking includes on-demand streaming and digital track sales, in addition to traditional album sales, all measured by Nielsen.

This is the most substantial update to the chart's methodology since May of 1991, when Billboard first used Nielsen's point-of-sale data — SoundScan — to measure album sales.

As previously reported, the new Billboard 200 chart uses accepted industry benchmarks for digital and streaming data, where 10 digital track sales from an album is equivalent to one album sale, and 1,500 song streams from an album equates to one album sale. All of the major on-demand audio subscription services are considered, including Spotify, Beats Music, Google Play and Xbox Music.

Beyonce's new Beyonce: More Only (EP) struts in at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 with 71,000 units. The digital set includes only the new bonus material (new songs, remixes and videos) that was added to the deluxe reissue of her self-titled album. The new EP sold 43,000 albums, but also garnered 25,000 in TEA and another 3,000 in SEA.

On the Top Album Sales chart, the Beyonce: More Only (EP) launches at No. 17.

The diva's self-titled album also scoots up both lists, thanks to its expanded reissue. On the Billboard 200, Beyonce rises 199-39 (25,000 units), while on the Top Album Sales chart, it vaults 199-37 (22,000 album sales; up 713 percent).

In other chart news, Beyonce's latest single "7/11" debuts on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 18.

Beyonce And NCLA Team Up For Nail Wrap Collection

Klaudia//December 2, 2014
When it comes to Beyoncé, “you have to be prepared for the unexpected,” says the singer’s longtime manicurist Lisa Logan. As proof, this morning at 10:15, the queen of the stealth media reveal launched a well-edited selection of nail wraps in collaboration with Logan and the Los Angeles–based beauty company NCLA on Shop.Beyonce.com—this on the heels of last week’s release of two new singles and one very viral music video.

Among other things, Beyoncé certainly has nail influence—whether through her Instagrammed manicures, live performances (who could forget her chromatic fingertips at President Barack Obama’s 2009 inauguration), or music videos, where she spotlighted NCLA nail art.

Pulled from Beyoncé’s work, the patterns are meant to evoke the plaid shirts she wears while power-tossing her hair in the video for “***Flawless,” the rainbow bright lights that set the Rollergirl tone in “Blow,” the sparkling Tom Ford mosaic bodysuit and fishnets she donned onstage at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, and the scrawl of her notebook including lyrics like “H-Town vicious.” With drying time removed from the equation, the press-on strips are primed for a spontaneous quick change. Because, as Logan puts it, “You can never peg what wants to wear or who she wants to be that day—you have to be able to switch it up.”

Beyonce's latest offering, 7/11, has debuted on the coveted Billboard charts.

Fresh off the release of "Beyonce" (the Platinum edition) and the release of its well received music video, "7/11" debuts at no.42 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart this week.

Also deemed the greatest gainer, the song's chart position is sure to soar on next week's tally considering the reception of the video, which has been watched by over 23 million viewers (on YouTube alone).

BeyGOOD Provides Thanksgiving Turkeys to 250 Families

Klaudia//November 22, 2014
Thanksgiving marks the kick off of holiday season. Many of us are fortunate enough to associate the holidays with an over abundance of food and gifts, not every family is so lucky.

Infused with the giving spirit, BeyGOOD made the dedication to support two organizations that provided outreach to more than 150 families in three shelters in the Bronx, New York, and nearly 80 families through a community hospital in Harlem, New York.

Initially, we set out on the journey to provide turkeys with our own budget in mind, but as absolute proof that doing good inspires others to do good, John and Ruth Brown stepped up to the plate and personally committed to donating turkeys.

We first met John and Ruth in Las Vegas last year during the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. They had BeyGOOD stickers on so they were upgraded to the BeyStage. They asked to stay in touch so they could continue to carry the message of BeyGOOD and a year later they absolutely embodied the heart of real BeyGOOD Ambassadors! As the General Manager of a meat company, John and his wife Ruth committed to personally covering the cost of paying for half of the turkeys. After being inspired by John and Ruth, John’s boss, Ed, and a fellow meat distributor, also committed to donating turkeys because being GOOD inspires everyone!

Thanks to their giving spirits, and the spirit of BeyGOOD, we were able to support 250 families, assuring they would enjoy a hearty Thanksgiving meal.

Follow us on Twitter @BeyGOOD and share your stories of how you plan to give back and #BeyGOOD this holiday season.

Beyonce To Release New Song "7/11" To Radio Next Week

Klaudia//November 18, 2014
Beyonce may be winding down the campaign for her blockbuster fifth album, but the singer looks set to have fans wining their waists as she does so.

Why?

Because her new song ‘7/11′ is making a beeline for radio next week.

All Access Access lists the track, which is being described as similar sounding to ‘Partition’, as due to impact Urban formats on November 25th.

The radio “add” date is just one day after the ‘Platinum Edition’ of the singer’s game-changing self-titled LP struts into stores.

As reported, ‘7/11′ serves as one of two new songs featured on the beefed-up re-release (alongside ‘Ring Off’) which will also include four remixes and ten live performances from the superstar’s top-grossing ‘Mrs. Carter Show’ tour.

Beyoncé Attends Solange's Pre-Wedding Festivities in NOLA

Klaudia//November 16, 2014
Beyoncé stepped out Friday night in New Orleans to celebrate sister Solange Knowles's rumored wedding weekend.

Solange – who is engaged to music video director Alan Ferguson – is reportedly set to tie the knot this weekend, and about 50 family and friends joined the happy couple in NOLA for a pre-wedding bash at the Indywood Cinema.

Solange, 28, and Ferguson, 51, showed a film they made of how they met before playing the movie they saw on their first date: Mahogany, a '70s flick featuring Diana Ross.

"It was pretty adorable," Hayley Sampson, who owns the film house with brother Will, tells PEOPLE. "They were talking about how they met and that they bonded this film and then showed everybody the movie."

As for the bash's treats, partygoers enjoyed daiquiris from local sandwich shop Gene's Po-Boys and drinks mixed by bartenders from the nearby go-to Oxalis.

Beyonce Gets Her Own Jeopardy Category

Klaudia//November 13, 2014
After hit records, sold-out tours, and numerous awards, Beyoncé conquered the last remaining obstacle to securing pop culture immortality: Jeopardy.

Tuesday night (Nov. 11), the quiz show’s “Tournament of Champions” featured an “& Beyonce” category, with questions spanning the length of Queen Bey’s career, from Destiny’s Child through recent hit “Drunk in Love.” For any real Mrs. Carter fans (a.k.a – everyone), the questions were exceptionally easy.

The trio of contestants performed **flawlessly by correctly answering all five questions, though Arthur Chu had a slight gaffe on the $1000 clue.

With her category coronation, Beyoncé joins the ranks of artists such as Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney who have graced the Jeopardy board.
